Elephant Parade Baby Cards

Today I created two baby cards using the Stampin’ Up Elephant Parade bundle and the new Alphabet A La Mode dies (Stampin’ Up Mini Catalog January – April 2023). These elephants are the cutest!

I made one slim card (8″ x 3.5″) for a baby girl and one slim card for a baby boy both using Basic Gray cardstock. To create the background I cut a 7.5″ x 3″ piece of the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper (DSP). To create the blocks I used the Subtles 6×6 DSP and one of the square dies from the Stylish Shapes dies. The letters B – A – B – Y were die cut out of Basic Black cardstock using the Alphabet A La Mode dies. The color combination I chose for the baby girl card is Highland Heather, Blushing Bride, and Basic Gray. I colored the little elephant with the light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends marker and the Blushing Bride marker. And I colored the balloon using a Highland Heather marker.

I created the baby boy slim card exactly the same as the baby girl one except I changed the color combination. For the baby boy card I used the following color combination: Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam, and Basic Gray.

Happy stamping!

Framed Florets Bundle and Count On Me Stamp Set

This week I had lots of fun making some cards using the Framed Florets bundle and the Count On Me stamp set. I just love how versatile the Framed Floret dies are and how cute the images are in the Count On Me stamp set. I used the little hearts from the oval frame that was die cut as embellishments. Here is a list of Stampin’ Up items I used to create this encouragement card:

  • Cardstock and Designer Series Paper (DSP): Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, Basic White, and Happy Forest Friends DSP
  • Stamp Pad: Black Memento and Calypso Coral
  • Markers/Blends: Soft Suede (dark and light) and Blushing Bride

For this friendship card I used the pair of koala bears stamp from the Count On Me stamp set and the Framed Florets bundle. I really like how the Framed Florets frame dies can be layered to create beautiful frames. The Stampin’ Up products I used to create this card are the following:
Cardstock: Soft Sea Foam, Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, Basic White, and Happy Forest Friends DSP
Stamp Pad: Black Memento
Markers/Blends: Blushing Bride and Smoky Slate (light)

Stampin' Up Good Feelings Cards

I loved being creative making this card. The stripes on the flowers were made by stamping the flower stamp image on the Rays of Light stamped image and then punching them out with the flower and leaves punch.

Tip: Use a bone folder to curl up the petals of the flowers.
Stamp Sets: Good Feelings, Rays of Light, Flowers of Friendship
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Evening Evergreen, So Saffron 6×6 DSP, Calypso Coral, Basic White
Ink: Calypso Coral, Evening Evergreen, Petal Pink
Punches: Flowers and Leaves
Dies: Fabulous Frames
Embellishments: Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots

This card was so much fun to create. I used scraps from my Subtles 6×6 DSP to make the background behind the framed sentiment.
Stamp sets: Good Feelings and Flowers of Friendship
Ink: Calypso Coral, Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Basic White
Punch: Flowers and Leaves
Dies: Fabulous Frames
Jewels: Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels and Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots

The catalog inspired me to create this card. I really like how the Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels compliment the card. 🙂
Tip: Use So Saffron stamp pad and a blending blush to create the sunshine before stamping the “Sending sunshine and good feelings your way” sentiment on the card. The sentiment is more crisp/bolder when you stamp it after creating the yellow sunshine.
Stamp sets: Good Feelings and Rays of Light
Ink: Petal Pink, Evening Evergreen, So Saffron
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Evening Evergreen, Basic White
Embossing Folder: Painted Texture 3D
Embellishments: Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels

Apple Harvest and Biggest Wishes Cards

Today I created two more cards using the Apple Harvest and Biggest Wishes stamp sets. Can you believe I created all 3 cards using just 1 sheet of the 6×6 Soft Subtles DSP? For the card bases I used Crumb Cake. I stamped all the stamped images using the Memento Black stamp pad. The Blushing Bride flowers I stamped, colored, and then fussy cut out. I colored the apple images with the Green Apple blends, and the tree branches and apple stems I used the Soft Suede blends. Each card I wanted to use a different ribbon… one I used the Soft Sea Foam ribbon, another one I used the Baker’s Twine, and the last one I used the Black and White Gigham ribbon. To add some pizazz I used the Rhinestone Basic Jewels for the centers of the flowers.

Apple Harvest

Today I decided to have some fun with the Apple Harvest stamp set that is a carry over item from the July-December Stampin’ Up Mini Catalog. I paired the stamp set with one of my favorite stamp sets from the Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog: Biggest Wish.

Paper: Soft Subtles 6×6 DSP, Crumb Cake, and Basic White
