Love For You

I so much enjoyed making this card. I think this card could be given to someone special not just on Valentine’s Day, but any day you’d like to let someone know that you love them or that you are sending so much love their way.

Supply List:

  • Stamp Set: Jar of Flowers
  • Paper: Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride, Basic White, Basic Black, Hues of Happiness 12×12 Designer Series Paper (DSP), and Fine Shimmer 12×12 Paper
  • Ink: Basic Gray
  • Punches: Jar
  • Dies: Love For You, Share a Milkshake (hearts), Teacup dies (smallest hearts), and Alphabet A La Mode

When I used the Alphabet A La Mode dies to cut out the sentiment for the first card, I had this Basic Black piece of cardstock left that had an adhesive sheet on it… so, I was determined to put it to use. I also had a Melon Mambo heart left over from the first card and a strip of Melon Mambo cardstock.

Supply List:
  • Paper: Thick White Cardstock, Melon Mambo, Basic Black, and Country Gingham 6×6 Designer Series Paper (DSP)
  • Dies: Love For You and Share a Milkshake
  • Embellishments: Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Love Cats

The Love Cats stamp set is so cute. I created three different cards using different techniques. This first card I wanted to show you how you can add designs to your stamped images… I created patterns inside of each of the hearts the cats are holding.

Supplies List:

  • Stamp Set: Love Cats
  • Paper: Sweet Sorbet, Basic White, and Country Gingham 6×6 DSP
  • Ink: Sweet Sorbet and Black Memento
  • Markers/Stampin’ Blends: Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet
  • Punches: Banners Pick a Punch
  • Embellishments: Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins

This card I wanted to show you how you can cut out the different words and assemble them differently on your card. I also wanted to show you how you can use this stamp set to create different kinds of cards other than just Valentine’s Day ones. I used the Country Bouquet punch to punch out the heart and leaves from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Supplies:
  • Stamp Set: Love Cats
  • Paper: Balmy Blue, Petal Pink, Basic White, Country Floral Lane 12×12 DSP, and Country Gingham 6×6 DSP
  • Ink: Black Memento
  • Markers/Stampin’ Blends: Sweet Sorbet
  • Punches: Country Bouquet Punch
  • Ribbon/Embellishments: Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins

For this last card I wanted to show you how you can create an encouragement card for someone using the Love Cats and Sending Support stamp sets. To bring out the sentiment more, I put the cat and sentiment layer at an angle and placed octagons in various places on the card.

Supplies:
  • Stamp Set: Love Cats and Sending Support
  • Paper: Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink, Basic White, and Country Gingham 6×6 DSP
  • Ink: Sweet Sorbet and Black Memento
  • Markers/Stampin’ Blends: Mint Macaron
  • Dies: Beautiful Shapes
  • Ribbon/Embellishments: Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Country Floral Lane With Love Card

I got my inspiration for this card from Melanie Hockin. She showed us how to create a card using the same card sketch during our recent Luv 2 Stamp Group Online Bingo Event. For this card, I created a little envelope by cutting a 3×3 piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) and folding three of the sides of it into the middle. I used a corner rounder to soften the corners of the envelope.

Supply List:

Stamp Set/Bundle: Country Bouquet Bundle

Paper: Basic White, Country Gingham 6×6 DSP, and Fine Shimmer 12×12 Paper

Ink: Sweet Sorbet

Embellishments: Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Country Floral Lane Valentine Cards

I enjoyed creating Valentine’s Day cards using the Country Floral Lane Suite. Tip: I found it easier to stamp the greenery/leaf part of the heart first, then stamp the floral part of the heart second. To create the heart I used the two following colors: Mint Macaron and Petal Pink.

List of Suppliers:

Stamp Set/Bundle: Country Bouquet

Paper: Mint Macaron, Basic White, and Country Floral Lane 12×12 Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Ink: Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, and Sweet Sorbet

Embellishments and Ribbon: Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins

This next card I used Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron to stamp the heart image. I think it goes so well with this sheet of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Country Floral Lane pack. Tip: Since the Burlap ribbon has a wider dimension than the Real Red ribbon, I first adhered a strip of it onto the Basic White cardstock using glue dots and then I tied a bow with some more Burlap ribbon and adhered it on top of the other ribbon using a glue dot… by doing so, I found it not being as “bulky”.

Stamp Set: Country Bouquet
Paper: Balmy Blue, Basic White, and Country Floral Lane DSP
Ink: Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, Black Memento
Embellishments & Ribbon: Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Happy Forest Friends

The Happy Forest Friends is such an adorable suite to create baby cards with. This first card I created is 5″ x 7″. I chose So Saffron as the color for the card base. I wanted to add some dimension to the card by using foam adhesive strips under the Basic Gray frame I created using the Deckled Rectangle dies.

Supply List:
Stamp Set(s): Happier Than Happy Bundle
Paper: So Saffron, Basic Gray, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, and Happy Forest Friends 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Ink: Calypso Coral
Ribbon: Old Olive and Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon Combo Pack

On this next baby card I created I wanted to use the cute bear stamp and coordinating die.
I used the following Stampin’ Up supplies for this card:
  • Stamp(s): Happier Than Happy bundle
  • Paper: Petal Pink, Basic Gray, Basic White, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, and Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper (DSP)
  • Ink: Soft Suede and Black Memento

For this baby card I wanted to create a gift card holder for it using the Mini Pocket Envelope dies.

Paper: So Saffron, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, and Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Ink: Soft Suede and Black Memento
Dies: Mini Pocket Envelope and Stylish Shapes

You Are My Cup Of Tea Valentine's Day Card

This 5×7 Valentine’s Day card was A LOT of fun to create. I used the new Alphabet A La Mode dies to die cut the letters out of Basic Black cardstock to spell “You are my cup of tea”. Tip: Use the adhesive sheets for the letters… it is much easier than gluing them.

Supply List:

Stamp Set(s)/Bundles: Country Bouquet Bundle

Paper: Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, and Country Floral Lane 12×12 DSP

Ink: Sweet Sorbet

Dies: Alphabet A La Mode, Stylish Shapes,  Teacup, and Share A Milkshake

Country Floral Lane & Friendly Gnomes

I could not help but to pair the cute Friendly Gnomes bundle with the Country Floral Lane Suite (Stampin’ Up January – April 2023) Mini Catalog. For this card I cut 1.5″ off of the front of the card, then cut a 1.5″ strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) to adhere to the inside of the card so that it aligns with the front of the card. To keep this fun fold card closed I glued a tiny magnet behind the sentiment piece of paper (under the red ribbon) and another one on the card base directly underneath the sentiment piece and also adhered a ribbon around it so you can tie it in a cute bow.

Supply List:

Stamps/Bundles: Country Bouquet Bundle and Friendly Gnomes bundle

Paper: Mint Macron, Basic White, Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Country Gingham 6×6 DSP

Ink: Sweet Sorbet and Black Memento

Markers/Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink, and Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends Medium Light

Dies: Stitched Rectangles

Embellishments & Ribbon: Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Country Bouquet Baby Card

One of the first things that came to my mind when I saw the Country Bouquet Bundle, which is a part of the Stampin’ Up Country Floral Lane Suite located in the Stampin’ Up January – April 2023 Mini Catalog, is how cute those hearts would be coming up out of that cute little elephant’s trunk.

Supply List:

Stamps/Bundles: Elephant Parade Bundle and Country Bouquet Bundle

Paper: Basic Gray, Basic White, and Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Ink: Balmy Blue and Black Memento

Markers/Stampin’ Blends: Basic Gray, Basic Black, and Blushing Bride

Dies: Stylish Shapes

In The Country

Today I wanted to show you how you can stamp simple and how you can step it up. For this demonstration I chose to use the In The Country stamp set. This stamp set is a SALE-a-bration item that can be earned with a qualifying Stampin’ Up order. Both cards are identical as far as the card sketch, however, for the first card I stamped the image on Crumb Cake cardstock using Early Espresso ink, but for the second card I stamped the image on Basic White cardstock with Early Espresso ink and used Stampin’ Blends to color it. I also decided to stamp the sentiment on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and place it in the upper right hand corner of the image. Lastly, I added a deer to the card in the lower left hand corner of the image.

Supplies used:

Stamp Set: In The Country
Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Garden Green, and Basic White
Ink: Early Espresso
Markers/Stampin Blends: Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Soft Suede, Smoky Slate
Dies: Deckled Rectangles and Grove Dies
