Mother’s Day is just around the corner. How exciting! I created this pretty Mother’s Day card using the Marigold Moments Bundle which is on the retiring list… it is available to order until the end of April while supplies last. The card base is 4.25″ x 5.5″. I used the 1.75″ circle to punch out three circles out of the gold cardstock for the background to give it some pizazz. I also used the Marigold Moments dies to create the gold border. The petal pink layer is 3.25″ x 4.5″. I used the Marigold Moments dies to create the beautiful flowers. I just love the Melon Mambo layered on top of the Flirty Flamingo to create the flower with the Granny Apple Green stem with leaves. Next, I embossed the sentiment on the black cardstock using the white embossing powder and heat tool. The sentiment was a little larger than I desired for this card so I fussy cut the white embossed sentiment out which made it smaller for the look I was wanting to achieve.
For the inside of the card, I layered a 3.25″ x 4.5″ piece of Petal Pink cardstock onto the Flirty Flamingo card base and added another Marigold Flower.
